By all reports, Monsieur Mayonnaise was a hit with society members, tracing the survival of filmmaker-artist Philippe Mora’s family during the Holocaust…but further reports suggests the film was only surpassed by the after film supper, which is attracting record crowds. Don’t tell anyone …but the brownies were from a packet mix.
BHFS objective is to provide a diverse genre of films including art house, documentaries, animation and classics. Our society is a member of the Federation of Victorian Film Societies.
Become a Member
Becoming a member is how you can show your support. Members contribute to the selection of films for the annual program. A supper is provided after each screening for members to meet others and discuss the film. Members can also rate each film and the average rating is sent to the Federation of Victorian Film Societies (FVFS).
